Getting Started

How do I connect with my partner?

After setting up your profile, go to the Connection tab and share your unique connection code with your partner. They enter it in their app to link your accounts. You can also share a direct link - if your partner already has Together installed, tapping it connects you automatically.

My partner can't find the connection code

Make sure both of you have completed profile setup. The code is found on the Connection tab. If the code doesn't work, try generating a new one from that screen.

Can I use Together without a partner?

You can set up a profile and browse the app, but all shared features - countdowns, moods, bucket list, timeline - require a connected partner. Invite them from the Connection tab.

How do I create a countdown?

On the Home tab, tap the + button to add a new countdown. You can set a date, location, and optional photo. Free accounts support one active countdown; Premium removes that limit.

How do mood check-ins work?

Tap the mood section on the Home tab to log how you're feeling. Your partner sees your latest mood, and you see theirs. Free accounts can check in once per day; Premium unlocks unlimited check-ins.

What are private notes?

Private notes are a personal space just for you - your partner cannot see them. Free accounts can store up to 15 notes; upgrading to Premium removes this limit.

How do I set up widgets?

Long-press your home screen, tap the + button, search for "Together", and choose from three widget sizes. Widgets show your next countdown, your partner info, or both. Widgets require a Premium subscription and an active partner connection.

What does Premium unlock?

Premium unlocks the full Together experience - and one subscription covers both you and your partner:

Account & Subscription

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through the App Store. Go to Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your iPhone to view, change, or cancel your Together subscription. You can also tap Manage Subscription inside the Together app settings.

I forgot my password

On the login screen, tap Forgot Password and enter your email address. You'll receive a reset link. If you signed up with Apple or Google, use those buttons to sign in - there is no password for those accounts.

How do I change my profile photo or city?

Go to Settings → Edit Profile to update your name, photo, or city. Your partner sees the updated information straight away.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This permanently removes all your data and your partner connection. This action cannot be undone. You can also email support@together-app.co and we'll handle it for you.

Troubleshooting

The app won't connect to the server

Check your internet connection and try again. If the problem persists, email us and we'll look into it.

My partner's info isn't updating

Pull to refresh on the Home tab. If data still looks stale, try signing out and back in from Settings.
